Lodging Houses

A lodging house is defined as a dwelling or premises offering accommodation to more than six persons (other than a family unit) and must be approved and licensed by the Health Services. Examples of lodging houses are backpacker hostels, short-term accommodation units, serviced apartments and large bed & breakfasts.
