As water is such a precious resource, the Town encourages the reuse of grey water just so long as it is done in a way that does not affect public or environmental health.
Greywater can be reused using the bucketing method or by installing a Greywater Reuse System. Both methods are covered in the
Code of Practice for Reuse of Greywater in Western Australia.
A Greywater Reuse System can not be installed or used unless a permit is issued by the Town of Vincent. A list of
Approved Systems and application form are available from the Department of Health.
