Youth Advisory Council

The Youth Advisory Council comprises young people aged 15 to 25 who live, study, work or take an interest in the Town. Meetings are held once a month at the Administration & Civic Centre.

The Council is responsible for assisting in the organisation of local youth events and projects. It also gives young people an opportunity to voice their opinion on local issues.

Holiday programmes for young people aged between 12 and 17 years run throughout the school holidays.

The Town of Vincent Youth Officer has access to a vast number of support services for young people and their families. If you require information on specific services, or are unsure of services available, the Youth Officer will direct you to the appropriate organisation for assistance.

A not-for-profit community based youth facility. Facilities include skate park, dedicated gig space for bands and performing arts, multimedia lounge and internet café.

Facilities at the Beatty Park Leisure include a 50 metre 8 lane outdoor heated pool, 30 metre heated dive pool, 25 metre indoor heated lap pool, diving boards, gymnasium and café.

Youth Legal Service is a Community Legal Centre that provides free and confidential legal services to young people in Western Australia (aged under 25).  Their website provides information about their services, projects and publications. It also provides access to a free collection of Fact Sheets that deal with the legal issues young people are facing.  You must make an appointment before you visit the Youth Legal Service Office.
