Special ACROD bays are set-aside for people who require wider bays and convenient access to facilities. Parking in disabled parking bays is only permitted for motorists who display a current valid ACROD permit on the dashboard of their vehicle.
The Town of Vincent has introduced ACROD 2.5 Bays that are designed for people who do not require a wider bay but who nevertheless require a bay designed for those with a disability.
People utilising these bays who do not display a valid ACROD sticker will be issued with an Infringement Notice with a penalty of up to $120.00.
