Vincent Light and Safe

‘‘Vincent Light and Safe’ is an initiative of the Town of Vincent, Safer Vincent Crime Prevention Committee and WA Police Service to assist residents with the aim to improving lighting outside homes and increasing levels of security and safety.

The objective of ‘Vincent Light and Safe Project’ is to provide and install 50 motion sensor lights in the residences of those who have been victims of anti-social/criminal behaviour in or adjacent to their homes within the Town.

It is intended that the lighting will illuminate darkened areas of resident’s homes, or right of ways where anti-social behaviour has been prominent. By lighting these areas, it is anticipated that the incidence of anti-social behaviour will decrease and a safer environment and increased level of safety will be achieved for recent victims of crime.

Recipients of these motion sensor lights will be victims of crime, or those who may be susceptible to crimes, that hold a valid Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card.
When the application rounds are open, a set of Guidelines and an Application Form will appear below. These guidelines deal with applications from individual residents and couples for a free motion sensor light and installation.

Please contact the Co-ordinator Safer Vincent on 9273 6032 or email if you require assistance.
