The Community Arts program provides opportunities for community members to participate in projects that express our unique identity. The Community Arts Officer is able to assist individuals and groups to develop and manage community arts projects which celebrate the diversity within the community and our common vision.

The Community Arts Officer can assist with information about:

• Artswa invests in the creation and presentation of quality arts products and services for the people of Western Australia.  Funding available.

• Australia Council is a Commonwealth statutory authority that promotes the arts in Australia and provides funding and assistance for arts related projects and programs throughout Australia.

• Community Arts Network (CANWA) supports and funds arts and cultural development projects.  They offer a cultural mapping and planning service as well as information about arts networks, events and festivals and other funding bodies.

• Country Arts WA supports and provides funding for arts projects and programs in country areas.

• Healthway supports and provides funding for projects which promote health, the arts and cultural development.

• Lotteries Commission of WA provides support and funding for a range of arts and cultural activities.

•  Office of Multicultural Interests WA has a community grants program which aims to assist and encourage the involvement of all Western Australians in projects and events that facilitate positive interaction among the citizens of our diverse community.
