




The Financial Services Team is responsible for both the day-to-day and longer term financial management of the Town.
The team handles all the financial matters of the Town which covers the following functions:
- annual financial statements
- monthly financial statements
- annual budget
- bi-annual Plan for the Future
Generation of rates revenue for the Town in accordance with the Local Government Act.
Collection of outstanding rates.
Purchasing and Tendering function in accordance with Town's purchasing policy and Local Government Tender regulations.
Preparation and maintenance of a fortnightly payroll.
Management of surplus funds in accordance with the Town's investment policy.
Creditor payments, fortnightly cheque run.
Management and maintenance of sundry debtors.
