The Town of Vincent is committed to giving all residents, ratepayers and business proprietors in the community the opportunity to be involved in programmes and initiatives that affect them.
The Town holds ad hoc public forums throughout the year to gain insight into the needs and wants of our community by inviting selected segments of the community to participate in forums about issues that affect them (for example in 2006 people were invited to forums on transport needs and on community safety and crime prevention). The Town uses the information gathered through these forums to help plan programmes and initiates to address the needs and concerns of our community and encourages everyone to be involved. The forums are inclusive and people with special requirements are catered for.
