Parks Services

The Town of Vincent is known for its parks and reserves, pristine streetscapes and conservation pursuits. Part of Vincent's charm lies in the number and variety of trees and plants that are native to the area and the Town actively encourages the preservation of trees of significance and the planting of native trees/shrubs.

The Town employs a number of horticulturalists and parks staff to maintain the public spaces, provide professional guidance for Town streetscape and beautification programmes.

The Parks Services Section is responsible for the maintenance and redevelopment of parks, road reserves and streetscapes including street trees, weed control, turf renovation and playgrounds.

Parks Services also arranges the very popular Annual Garden Competition and provides information for residents in choosing trees and local plants.

The Town is committed to the environment and information on our environmental initiatives and local wildlife can be found by clicking here.

The Town’s Graffiti Removal Services is also co-ordinated through the Parks Services Section.
