The review of the Town Planning Scheme No.1 commenced with the completion of Vincent Vision 2024. Community Visioning was undertaken primarily to guide the review of the Town Planning Scheme No.1 and in this respect, has provided much of the base information required to formulate a Local Planning Strategy.
There are a number of details and tasks required to bring together the community visioning information into a document that will provide the strategic basis and framework for the new Town Planning Scheme.
The Council at it Ordinary Meeting held 5 December 2006 resolved to establish a Town Planning Scheme Review Committee.

In relation to Minutes of the most recent Council meeting, for your information Section 5.25(i) of the Local Government Act states:
"A local government is to ensure that unconfirmed minutes of each council and committee meeting are available for inspection by members of the public -
(a) in the case of a council meeting, within 10 business days after the meeting; and
(b) in the case of a committee meeting, within 5 business days after the meeting."
