The Engineering Services Section is responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of all roads, rights-of-ways, footpaths, drains and the associated street furniture and infrastructure located throughout the Town.

In addition to these functions, the section is also responsible for the collection and disposal of refuse from residences and businesses within the Town and the supervision of the contractor employed to collect recyclable material from the Council's residents, businesses and recycling stations.

The implementation of new on-road parking restrictions and traffic management is also carried out by Engineering Services.

Engineering Services are responsible for the maintenance and upgrade of Council's vehicle fleet and the maintenance of Council's Works Depot.
