John Giorgi is the Town's inaugural Chief Executive Officer - appointed on 8 August 1994. He was previously employed for 23 years in a variety of positions at the former City of Perth, including: Controller of Health Services from December 1985 to August 1994; Senior Health Surveyor, Health Surveyor and Records Officer in the Town Clerk's Department.

Mr Giorgi has tertiary qualifications in Environmental Health from Curtin University, Royal Society of Health, Health Technology and a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management from Flinders University. Mr Giorgi brings a diverse range of experience to the position, with a background in Executive Management and Health Services in local government.

He is a Fellow of Local Government Managers' Australia, which is the peak body for local government managers in Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Environmental Health and an active Justice of the Peace.

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the overall management of the Town and acts as the chief adviser to the Council.

Mike was appointed to the position on 27 August 1999.

Mike has experience in both local government and commercial environments. Prior to being appointed to this position he was employed for 5 years at the City of Melville as the Manager of Financial Services. Before that he was employed at Woodside Petroleum Limited for 13 years in a variety of accountancy positions. Mike is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA); he also possesses a Bachelor of Business and a Post Graduate degree (Accounting).

Rob Boardman was appointed to the position on 30 January 1995. 
Prior to this he was employed by the City of Perth as Environmental Health Manager for a period of 8 years.

Rob has been a member of the Local Health Authorities Analytical Committee since October 1995. This committee is made up of representatives from local authorities in the metropolitan and country areas, Health Department of Western Australia and contracted analysts. The main role of the committee is the co-ordination of local authorities to ensure that only good quality, wholesome and safe foods are consumed in Western Australia.

Rick Lotznicker was appointed to the position on 30 November 1998, after previously acting in this position from June 1998. Prior to that, Rick was employed as Manager Engineering Services with the Town from May 1996.

Over the last 25 years, Rick has held various positions which have involved him in a variety of facets in the field of civil engineering construction and design in Australia and overseas. His qualifications and varied knowledge and experience have greatly assisted Rick in carrying out the functions of the Technical Services Executive role with the Town over the last 6 years.
Rick's qualifications include an NZCE (Civil) from New Zealand and a Graduate Diploma in Municipal Engineering (Curtin). He is a member of the Institute of Public Works Engineers Australia (IPWEA) WA Division.
