Our Staff

The Crèche is staffed by qualified, experienced professional staff.

About the Crèche

Our aim is to provide a safe, secure, healthy and stimulating environment for your child while you enjoy your leisure activity at Beatty Park Leisure Centre.

We provide a variety of activities for the children. The activities and routines are flexible to suit all age levels and are designed to meet the developmental needs of the children. There is opportunity for the children to move freely from one activity to the other.

Outdoor Play Area

If you wish your child/ren to play outside (walking children only), for their health and safety we ask that you ensure your children bring a hat and have sunscreen applied before they enter the Crèche.

Sunburn can still occur under shade and on cloudy days.

To help us achieve our aims and to ensure a high standard of quality care and security can be provided, we ask you to observe the following:

  1. Parent or guardian must remain within Beatty Park Leisure Centre while the child is in the Crèche. You will be asked to sign your child in and out in the Crèche register. Please inform the staff of any special instructions for the care of your child at time of sign in.
  2. A card should be purchased from the main Reception desk and handed in to the Crèche at the time of admission.
  3. Children will only be discharged to the person signing them in (regardless of the relationship), unless prior arrangement has been made with the Crèche Supervisor and written authority is given.
  4. In order to prevent cross infection, sick children will not be admitted. Please do not bring your child into the Crèche if they have any obvious illness, including;
    • a cold
    • conjunctivitis
    • diarrhoea
    • vomiting
    • cold sores
    • school sores
    • a rash
    • a fever
  5. Please mark all articles brought to the Crèche with your child’s name.
  6. If your child becomes overly distressed while in the Crèche, you may be paged on the Centre’s public address system to attend the Crèche.
  7. Due to some children having severe allergic reactions please do not bring any nut products into the Crèche.
