General Information

In Western Australia children are frequently exposed to a variety of aquatic environments. With our abundant beaches, rivers, water playgrounds and both public and backyard swimming pools it is vital that children are provided with the opportunity to develop effective water safety skills.  Learning to swim is a central component of this process and also enables children to enjoy the advantages afforded by the climate and natural surroundings in our State.

Beatty Park Swim School is one of the largest Learn-to-Swim programs in Western Australia.  With an extensive range of classes available to suit all levels of skill and confidence, the Swim School will certainly have a program to suit your requirements.

Parent and Baby classes are a fantastic way of introducing your infant to the wonders of swimming.  Pre-School and School Age lessons follow an individualised and structured program from beginners to basic squad level.  The Angelfish Program for people with disabilities provides individuals with a life-long skill which will enable them to participate in a wide range of aquatic activities with a focus on integration. Adult classes are available for learn to swim or improvement of technique and/or fitness levels.

Small class sizes, an indoor heated pool and an interactive environment provide optimum learning conditions.  Our instructors are all Austswim certified, experienced and committed to their profession. All instructors regularly participate in training and workshops.
